I recently read "Cogheart" by Peter Bunzl and I have to say, it's an absolutely delightful read. The book is set in a steampunk version of Victorian England and follows the adventures of Lily, the daughter of a famous inventor, and Robert, a clockmaker's son. The two are brought together on a mission to find Lily's missing father, encountering a cast of intriguing characters and dangerous obstacles along the way. One of the best things about "Cogheart" is the world-building. The steampunk setting is vividly realized, with all sorts of imaginative gadgets and machines. The characters are also well-drawn, with Lily and Robert making a great duo as they work together to unravel the mystery of Lily's father's disappearance. The book is also full of action, with plenty of thrilling chase scenes and narrow escapes to keep you on the edge of your seat. Overall, I would highly recommend "Cogheart" to anyone looking for a fun, exciting read

I read this book in school and I loved it!!! It was so good I can’t stop comparing things to the book. I recommend it to people who love a good mystery because Lily wants to find out where her papa went after his airship crashed. My favourite character is Malkin Lily’s mech fox he was built for Lily by her papa.

This book was amazing. it is full of mystery and exitment. really dragged me in. I would recommend this to 9+ or anyone who wants a challenge. It is creepy in parts but i loved it so much.

Cogheart is an amazing book. It left me on the edge of my seat every time I came to a new chapter! I would say that my favourite character would be Lily because she is caught up in a huge web of lies every where that she turns and honestly I feel sorry for her. Her supposedly trust worthy god father does everything he can do to get his hands on the Cogheart and even tries to cut her stomach open and take it out of her. I would recommend this book to children about 9or over because unless you like gory books then this might not be for you.

It was ok, but not the best book. My favourite character was Malkin the mechanical fox. I would recommend this book to 10-14 year olds.
