In the Wilderness, where magic and nature collide, there are magical creatures and strange powers at work. In this story the Wild Things - a group of children who have taken on the characteristics of the wild creatures they are named after - find that their camp has been destroyed by a flood. If only it would stop raining, then, perhaps, they could enjoy the meteor shower and the wishes that they make on the shooting stars would come true.

Reviews

I really liked Willow, the main character, and her adventure in the wilderness. I especially liked talking about the stars and constellations.

I liked this book. I liked this book because its an adventure book and I like adventure books. this is a chapter book. this is the 3rd book in the willow wild thing books. this book is about a girl called willow and her friends the wild things one night they wish on shooting stars and something falls from the sky and they all run to were it was heading and it was not a shooting star it was some thing more magical. I recommend this book 5-9 year olds to read.

Willow and the Wildthings decide to camp out in Raven’s garden and watch the shooting star show that Fox teaches them all about. Each one of them makes a wish on the stars and magic comes from them instantly. I loved this story but was also sad for Willow's little brother who is poorly. I learned about the importance of friendship. I would recommend to my friends.

It's a fictional book. Willow goes on a mission to find a shooting star as her brother is sick in hospital. She doesn't find a star. She finds a special swam and it gives her a feather. She gives the feather to her brother.

Willow's brother got poorly, she went to ravens house and saw some shooting stars that were swans. She wished for her brother to be well and when she went home he was.

It wasn't that exciting, but I still liked it. Daddy chose this one for me as our cat's name is Willow but I'll choose my own in future.

This was a good fun book and I want to read more of her adventures. I think scruffy the dog was my favourite because he was funny and had a nice name. I was a little bit scared that Willow and Ravens camp was going to get washed away though!

I liked it because it was about a shooting star and saving a swan by taking off plastic from its beak.
