The book is about dogs wanting to help people and in Pips case having to give up chasing balls. Pip sounds like he's a very caring dog. Towards the end of the story Pip helped Kayla meet new friends and play basketball. Pip thought he'd failed but he ended up being Kayla' Assistance dog.

this is an adventure story, and it is fiction. Pip is a Labrador who is training to be a guide dog, she is going to help a girl in a wheelchair pip has learnt to do lots of different tricks, I like this story because its all about being kind and helping people. I would definitely recommend this book to my friends.

I like the puppy academy and i realy like this book and the name of the character which is Pip and this name is very funny too.This book is very amazing to read.

I thought that pip was going to be successful and helpful. Pip help the girl in the wheelchair. A very good read.

Medium rating. Colonel custard was my favourite character. Yes I would recommend it.

I liked this book because I like the idea of being a assistance dog. Pip had to work really hard not to chase the ball. Kayla was my favourite character. I liked her because she liked basketball. I also liked pip.

These are one of my favourite series of books. I’ve read them all. I hope Gill writes some more as they are brilliant!

I thought this book was amazing , fun and heartwarming It was about a puppy learning to be an assistant dog but the only trouble is that he can’t resist ballgames dun dun daaah!! I would recommend it to my friends !!!

I think this book shows about a dog who finds a dog who wanted to helper a dog but he couldn't so he play with the ball the day of the finals the girl she wants came back to get him.

I thought this book was very good because it had a good atopy line to it. My favourite character was pip. Yes I would recommend this book to someone else.

It was good because I love the main character and Pip was really good and it was nice to read. I liked Star the best because Star is a Border Collie and they are my favourite breed of dog. Well, one of my favourite breeds of dog. I would recommend this for people who love dogs especially assistant dogs.
