An amazing book Full of mystery. I recommend this book for all ages. This book is great for learning because you can discover about Egyptian mummies and hieroglyphics. Amazing amazing gadgets are included and a thief who has been seen as four different people but is only the one person. My favourite character is Gus the security guard because he tells lots of funny , bad jokes. I think that everyone should have a chance to read the books in the series. They are full of mystery and adventure.

I like this book, because it makes you confused. Yes, I suspected the Egypt expert and the mad cat lover, but never knew the secret of them both until I read the end! When Laurie mentioned the painter, I didn't understand but when I read on it made sense, and I agreed that he was the one to suspect. I was actually shocked with the result when they had spoken to him. I think that Paul Pitt was clever, but not clever enough for the Museum Mystery Squad. I like the bit at the start of the book where Nabster is doing a crossword on the laptop and Laurie is just telling him the answers from the sleeping bag. It was funny and it also made Nabster seem so silly, especially with museum as one of the answers! At the end where Nabster says he is now good at crosswords, it's funny because when he reads the next one, he cannot work it out! And of course Laurie knows the answer and it's sleeping bag, exactly the place where Laurie is. How funny!

This book taught us about Ancient Egypt. My favourite part was when Colin the Hamster pushed the straw out of his cage onto the floor and made a mess. The book teaches you about hieroglyphics.
