I like that tilly tried everything to find her father even if she had to climb up chimneys and meet queen Victoria

I like when she went to the Victorian queen and suggested party sausages for afternoon tea. It was funny when her dad told her to jump out of the window and I found Sir Digby snorting tons name funny.

I really loved this book, it's very sweet but also quite sad at the same time since Tilly's mum died. This is one of my most favourite books. I also liked the pictures. I liked Tilly the best and yes of course I would recommend.

I rated this book 5/5 because it is very funny! It told us that in the victoriana times the queen ate very very quickly. My name is the same as the main character which I thought was stupendous. This book is fiction and my favourite character was of course Tilly. I would recommend this book to my teachers nso they can read it to their children.

This book is about when Tilly's mum has died and her dad is a scientist, in the middle of the night her dad invents a time machine where you just have to type in the time and place to go to. So, when Tilly wakes up, she finds her dad is missing and she is already late for school. She ends up packing only chocolate biscuits and didn't eat any breakfast but luckily her teacher asked everyone to share their food with her. When Tilly came back home, she enters her house through the back gates and defends herself from being attacked from some criminals who want to destroy her dad's time machine. So Tilly calls the police and they come and take the criminals away. Next, Tilly wanted to try out the time machine but for some reason it just took her too many places that apparently her dad had visited like the world cup when England won, Buckingham palace. Then she arrived home and realized that she was at her sixth birthday party when her mum was alive and in the end she came back to real life and found her father. I like this book because of all of the adventure and my favourite character was Tilly because of her braveness. I would recommend this book to all my friends and family.

Learning about history was fun in this book - Tilly went on lots of using her Dad's time machine. I liked it when Tilly was in the Victorian era and met the Queen! I felt sad that Tilly's Mum had died and thought she managed on her own really well. I would recommend this book to my friends

A very silly story, has good repetition for description of Dad.

It was such a fun and adventurous book, you get to travel in time with Tilly and her dad and get to learn about different things. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did!
