Ami lives on Culion, where some of the inhabitants - including her mother - have leprosy. She loves her home - but then islanders untouched by sickness are forced to leave. Desperate to return, Ami finds a strange and fragile hope in a colony of butterflies. Can they lead her home before it's too late?

Reviews

I liked this book because it made you hungry for more. It always left you on a cliffhanger which made you want to read and read and read until you found out what happened in the end.I could not put this book down!I thought the author did a really good job because you felt like you were there.I liked Ami the best because she always looks for the positive side of things.
