I like it at the end when they put a lighthouse on top of the black rock. I liked it when Erin stopped the boats from attacking the rock. My favourite character was the black rock, he was kind & helpful, it was sad when he hurt himself.

I liked when the black rock came by and saved Erin and all the fisherman thought it was a big monster but then erin saved the black rock.

Nice ending but found the middle a bit scary. It was good to see that the fishermen could recognise they were mistaken and not continue to try to destroy black rock.

I like the black rock, he was nice. And the dog called archie. I liked Erin seeing all the sea animals, especially the angler fish.

I really liked the book especiallythe part about how all the sailors were telling tales about the rock and Erin went to find out the truth. That was my favourite part.

I read this with my brother and we both liked it because it was an exciting adventure story and shows the little girl Erin's bravery. There are more in the series and I am going to read them.
