Guy Bass, Steve May
Laura has a mutiny on her hands when she tries to play by the rules in this non-stop wild-western comedy from award-winning author Guy Bass. I liked this because Laura didn’t want mean people in the village so set rules for people, but they were annoyed by this. Her Dad told her not to have the rules. I learnt that you have to listen to rules, but sometimes you can ask questions about rules

This book is about a cowgirl in the Wild west I think I don't know.

The book was funny in places but I really don't like the part in the story where she just gives up - I don't think giving up makes for a good story.

Very funny book all about Laura becoming Sheriff of Butts canyon and Ten Gun Ben. I liked Laura's dad the best- who was Sheriff of Butts canyon in the first place- because he was a very scared person in the book and mainly against most of Laura's actions like when she went to tell the mayor off. I also liked the mayor because I picture him saying all the things very sarcastically. I liked it because it shows that little people can do big things even if in the end it doesn't always end up the way you want it to. I would recommend it to everyone who wants a bit of a laugh and enjoys funny things- not very many pages but maybe if you're very young don't read it or let someone else read it to you.

This book is about when the townspeople of Butts Canyon get fed up of following the 'Golden Rules' that Laura Norder makes sure that they don't break.

Ten Gun Ben is my favourite character because he is really evil. I would 100% recommend this to others because it is funny. Here is a sneak preview. A long time ago, before motor cars and microwaves and mobile phones, there was the Wild West! It was an unruly land full of cowboys, cowherds and cowpats.
