I really enjoyed this book because Shelley fell down the hill and she walked to the duck pond and the duck said ‘you can’t break through the ice’ but Shelley did!

It was so funny when Shelley skidded down the hill on her shell and when she hit a bump and flew! I thought she would get stuck outside, but she smashed the ice with her shell to get back in the warm shed and see her Mummy and Daddy again.

I thought that this book would be quite good for younger children because the words were big and short so if someone has recently learnt to red and want a more tricky book then recommend this book

I liked the book. The funny bit was when the tortoise slid down the hill on his shell faster than all the other animals. My favourite character was the tortoise.
