Marty loves her Converse trainers, playing football, hiding in her secret den and helping her dad with his DIY. But her sister Melissa loves Justin Bieber and all things pink, girly and pretty. The sisters can manage to live together, despite their occasional scraps but then Mum tells them they have to share a room.

Reviews

I like it because there is a girl called Martina, she hates her sister as she is opposite and always tells on her. In the end she pushed Melissa off the Ladder and she becomes unconscious.

I loved this book my favorite character was Melissa because I think she is growing up and she is probably my age! I do not like the younger sister because she pushed her sister down the ladder and she may have died or had damage done to her skull.

Melissa is my favorite character because she loves girly stuff like me. i felt very relaxed as i read this book because its funny but also realistic. its about 2 sisters fighting and hate each other but in the end they love each other which is very realistic and so many of us can relate. its nice to read a book that is realistic because it can also help us and make us realize that there is always a happy ending. i would definitely recommend this book especially for teen girls. hope you enjoy this book as much as i did.

It was awesome! I love the way it describes their relationship and style, the way Mellisa loves pink stuff and makeup, and Marty likes her animals and her comics.

I liked Matilda the painter at the hospital the best

The start of the book didn't really pop in my head but as I was reading it, it became more and more interesting and partly funny and I mostly liked the bit when Martina went to Alisha's birthday party.

Marty was really funny and kind. I liked it at the end when the sisters were bonding and being kind to each other. I would recommend to a friend

My sister is better than this as she doesn’t hide my toys under her bed and make me think she threw them in the garbage.

I would recommend it to someone else because it was actually a very good book but as I was reading it ,it didn't really pop in my head they didn't describe it well but I hope everyone else enjoys it.

A story about sibling differences with lots of humour finishing in sentiment.

Though the beginning took a while to get into, I loved reading this book. It took me two days to complete and was a delight. It included themes that do happen in real life and teaches a lesson about cherishing siblings and realising how much you really love them.

I thought it was hilarious. But I do think that at the end Marty was too soft and I was a bit disappointed.

What I really liked about this book is that Martina and her sister hated each other and martina was mean to Melissa and Melissa was mean to Martina and they was always fighting one day Martina and Melissa came nice to each other

It showed two sisters called Melissa old one and Martina young one. It interested me because later on they discovered each others love.
