They have everything in the world they’ve ever wanted except for one thing… Happiness! Joe Spud, the boy, started a new school and found a new friend but when he used money for everything, he realised that money isn’t everything…

It just never lets you down at even one point because all throughout the book it is just so good.

This was a bit sad, a bit funny, a little bit exciting. I liked Joe, I would like to be as rich as he was, but I wouldn’t like to get a purple bottom! Well my mum does like purple though… so she might! David Williams made me feel a bit sick with Mrs Trafe’s lunch menus.

My favourite author at the moment is David Walliams. I shared the reading of this book with my Mummy and we really enjoyed it. It didn't take us long to read either as the story was so good.
